Book your fall portraits for the first ever Family Photo Day at The Tasting Room + Tap House at Mount Ida Reserve. Sessions will be held between 12:00pm - 4:30pm on Sunday, November 10th.
Come and enjoy an afternoon with our blind tasting class at Mount Ida! Through the class, you will get a brief lesson on wines of the world, and how to utilize the deductive tasting method to identify specific characteristics of wine varietals such as nose, mouth feel, and flavor. Towards the end, put yourself to the test with four mystery wines!

Over 20 local artisans are joining together offering a wide range of products to include handbags, jewelry, wood work, soaps, spices, metal work, pottery and more!
Join us at the Tasting Room & Taphouse at Mount Ida Reserve for an exclusive look behind the scenes during our monthly brewery tour! Our brewmaster, John Bryce, will take guests on a guided tour through our in-house brewery. Afterwards, he will lead you in an educational tasting of Mount Ida Reserve's innovative craft beers. John will educate attendees about the brewing process and highlight what makes Mount Ida unique. The tour and tasting will last about an hour.
On the third Thursday of Each Month The Tasting Room & Taphouse at Mount Ida Reserve will be hosting a trivia night! Each month we will choose a new theme. There is no fee to join. Come with your own team, play single, or pick some partners on arrival! All ages welcome, patrons under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
This month's theme will be Disney!
In this three hour beginner macramé workshop lead by In Between Dreams you will learn how to make your very own beautiful boho wall hanging! You will create design, texture, and pattern within your piece by varying the knots as you work, leaving with a finished wall hanging, and the know-how to design and create more pieces on your own! This workshop includes instruction, all materials and a glass of Mount Ida Rosé.

We have joined up with the local Elysium Honey Co. to bring you four kinds of honey to pair with four of our farm barley beers! Taste your way through honey made all over the world, from here in Virginia, all the way to northern Italy with honey-maker Diego Decorte. Learn the nuances of pairing your favorite beers, as well as the specifics of each honey from around the world.
