It all started with our cattle. This is the reason for our motif of two bulls.
With space to grow, we became one of southern Albemarle’s first full-scale wedding venues at Mount Ida Manor. The growth continued, adding our Turkey Run neighborhood, three additional wedding venues, and finally our Tasting Room + Taphouse, established in 2018. With all of these elements and many more, we remain a fully-operational farm.
The Tasting Room + Taphouse is situated atop Mount Ida’s 5,000 acre reserve.
We are unique, in that we offer both a brewery and vineyard experience within the campus of our restaurant. Each of our small production wines and innovative craft beers have been expertly paired with a seasonal menu complete with shareable snacks, small plates, and larger offerings.
