Vintner’s Sauvignon Blanc Release Tasting

Our wine maker, Frantz Ventre will host guests at the bar to taste and discuss our newly released Sauvignon Blanc.
This is an open house-style event.
Frantz Ventre has more than 30 years of progressive experience in winemaking and
vineyard management. He started his career in his home town of Bordeaux, France at the age of 16 and soon moved to Charlottesville where he began as an intern and then operations manager at Jefferson Vineyard.
Frantz brings a unique perspective to Mount Ida’s wine program by combining traditional and old world experience with his interest in experimentation.
