Choose a seating between 5:00 and 7:00 and your choice of entree. \nThe Tasting Room will be open to the public for standard service though our Valentine’s Day offerings are only available to guests who have pre-purchased tickets. \nDinner is $65 per guest plus tax and gratuity. This has already been added on to your ticket. \nOur wine maker\, Frantz Ventre\,  will guide you through a tasting and comparison of six of our wines including our Reserve Red\, winner of a gold medal at the Virginia Governor’s Cup. \nYou will compare tasting notes between vintages of a varietal\, dive deeper into your tasting notes\, learn about our vineyard and wine-making process\, and enjoy paired snacks from our kitchen. \nSpace is limited to this intimate event. \nFrantz Ventre has more than 30 years of progressive experience in winemaking and\nvineyard management. He started his career in his home town of Bordeaux\, France at the age of 16 and soon moved to Charlottesville where he began as an intern and then operations manager at Jefferson Vineyard. \nFrantz brings a unique perspective to Mount Ida’s wine program by combining traditional and old world experience with his interest in experimentation.
