DESCRIPTION:Backpack Buddies is a Charlottesville nonprofit that provides backpacks filled with school supplies to students in need across Virginia. DESCRIPTION:We’re opening the beach up to non-members and residents for an afternoon of fun in the sun. \nOur members have access to the beach for no charge. \nNon member rates are $15 for minors and $25 for adults. We are unable to offer day-of tickets. \nJust past the Tasting Room through the private gates\, you’ll find a white sand beach and dock on the lake. Guests are welcome to relax\, swim\, fish\, kayak\, and enjoy the space [no motorized vessels permitted]. \nSeating is first come\, first served. Be sure to bring a chair! We have plenty of space to stretch out on the lawn if the beach fills. \nStop by our Tasting Room to pick up some wine and beer for your afternoon. \nThere is no lifeguard on duty. Minors are required to stay within the roped off area. If guests under 18 would like to use kayaks or other flotation devices\, a life jacket must be worn to venture outside of the designated area.

SUMMARY:Mount Ida Farm-Raised Cattle Roast
DESCRIPTION:It all started with our cattle. This is the reason for our motif of two bulls. With space to grow\, we developed our Tasting Room + Taphouse\, established in 2018\, to showcase our farm-raised Black Angus beef and farm grown barley + grapes.  We remain a fully-operational farm. \nWe will be hosting our second annual farm-to-table slow roast at the Tasting Room. It’s a true celebration of what we do\, from pasture to plate. \nChef will be preparing a summer-favorites buffet alongside the beef. There is no fee to enter the Tasting Room\, the buffet is $30 per guest. We will be serving from an abbreviated regular kitchen menu as well. \nWhile supplies last! We will make a post when we have run out of beef at @mountidareserve
