Mount Ida Reserve is teaming up with the Charlottesville Albermarle Historical Society and the Scottsville Museum for a tour through our community’s rich history for the Twilight Tour.
Join us aboard the shuttle and begin your journey back in time. Along the way you will meet spirits from our community’s past ranging from the pre-Civil War era to the the early 20th century. You’ll learn the takes of real-life local figures like Little Lottie Moon, who’s family were the original proprietors to the Reserve, missionary to China in 1873.
You will see the Reserve from a unique vantage point as you travel from the Tasting Room & Taphouse to Mount Pleasant and Mount Ida Manor homes, over the old Hardware River bridge, through our vineyards and back again.
This tour involves moderate walking and frequent step climbing. Given the nature of this tour, participation is limited to guests 12 years and up.
